Conversation Circle Project
Nambucca Valley Council recently advised that funding has been secured to construct a Conversation Circle on the village green in Adin Street opposite Scotts Head Central.
The proposal was put to council by the SHCG in early 2021 with the aim to create an area where people could gather casually on the village green opposite the shops and cafes. The design that accompanied the proposal included 6 x 2.4m hardwood benches arranged around a gravel circle featuring a masonry centre piece/pit.
Council has advised that the project is likely to be completed early 2025.
The SHCG would like to thank council for their support for this initiative and their ongoing support of our community. We look forward to the project being completed and the additional amenity it will provide residents and visitors when taking a moment to enjoy the village green.
