Our mission: facilitate positive social, economic and environmental outcomes for the residents of Scotts Head village and surrounds

About Us

The Scotts Head Community Group (SHCG) is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit incorporated community organisation.

The group was formed in the late 1990s to listen to the community and be a voice for the community- now and into the future.

The SHCG includes a core Executive Committee and three active sub-committees.

SHCG meets monthly, between February and November every year and meetings are open to all to attend.

Our Focus

  • Natural environment: recognising the value and importance of our environment

  • Interconnected community: recognising the need to help build community connections

  • Built environment: recognising the need to maintain our small coastal village feel

What community members think

“I currently give my time to the Scotts Head Community Group. But we made donations to help the group’s Save Scotts Head campaign.”

“Donations are important. It takes money to enable the Scotts Head Group to represent the community, with campaigns and things like insurance.”
