It’s great that you’re thinking of donating to the Scotts Head Community Group (SHCG). Your contribution (small or large) helps support a wide range of community projects and local initiatives- now and into the future.
How your donations are used
Every dollar counts! Your donation has the power to positively impact the future of Scotts Head.
Some of our past, current and future activities which have been supported by donation dollars:
- The successful Save Scotts Head campaign in 2022
- The development of the Scotts Head Community Group Strategic Plan 2024-2029 and ongoing advocacy with key stakeholders
- Submission to local Council for a safe bikeway/walking path between Scotts Head and Macksville
- The development and ongoing maintenance of the Scotts Head Community Garden
- Creation and distribution of the monthly Scotts Head Wave newsletter
- Ongoing advocacy for a skate park, more public toilets, a community centre, accessibility to the beach and a foreshore invasive weed control program
- Support SHCG’s ongoing costs for meetings, insurance, the newsletter and website
- Enabling SHCG to continue exploring and co-funding new projects and initiatives
Why we donated
“I currently donate my time to the Scotts Head Community Group. But we made cash donations to help the group’s Save Scotts Head campaign.”
